Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon (Nintendo 3DS)

Release Date: 28/03/2013
Paltform: Nintendo 3DS
Developer: Nintendo

Mario's little brother returns in the excellent Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon as you guide him through puzzles, capture ghosts and battle your way through Evershade Valley to save Professor E Gadd. A new adventure The Dark Moon shines above Evershade Valley, casting a calming effect on the local ghosts and allowing the Professor to study their behaviour. But one day, the Dark Moon shatters and falls from the sky, causing the ghosts to become hostile and trap the Prof. in his bunker! Meanwhile, Luigi is sitting at home watching TV when the desperate Professor appears on his screen and pulls him through to help with the ghosts. He convinces Luigi to help, and armed with the powerful Poltergust 5000, he sets off to repair the Dark Moon and pacify the ghosts again. Interesting characters As Luigi helps the Professor, he will come across an array of different types of ghost, from the mild Greenies to old-school Boos that roam the mansions and even the mighty King Boo. The Slammers are heavy-hitting ghosts that create an energy wave when they clap their hands, whilst Hiders throw items at you as you pass. There's even the cute but troublesome Polterpups, which eat objects you need, usually right when you need them. As you search, you'll travel through mansions, towers and mines to find parts of the Dark Moon . Luigi has been armed with the Poltergust 5000, which allows you to suck up coins, interact with items, blow ceiling fans and even suck up the bothersome ghosts! It is equipped with the Strobulb and Dark-Light device to stun spectres and reveal hidden illusions. Gripping gameplay The adventure is brought to life with rich, cartoon-like graphics in immersive auto-stereoscopic 3D. In addition to the single player moon-hunting action, you can also connect with others using your 3DS to expand the fun. Whether you use the Local Multiplayer mode, Download Play or Online Multiplayer, you'll find yourself running around with other Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon fans in games such as ScareScraper, Polterpup and Rush. Battle a range of ghosts, become a coin collector and hunt for parts of the Dark Moon in Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon for Nintendo 3DS.
